Jones Family Honey’s Hive Hosting Program is a unique opportunity to learn about bees and become engaged with your local honeybee population. In exchange for an annual fee, our hive hosting program provides:
The educational experience you receive from hive hosting will be based on your current beekeeping knowledge, the needs of the bees and what you want from the experience. This is a fun and unique opportunity to gain a one-on-one mentor-ship with one of our professional beekeepers who will provide you with the knowledge to better understand honeybee biology, physiology, and their overall needs.
Hosting beehives is an excellent way to help support local honeybees and beekeepers while enjoying the benefit of receiving honey directly from the hives. You can become involved as much or as little as you want, whatever meets your circumstances.
We currently provide service to the following counties: Contra Costa and Alameda
Cost: Access to your yard without notice. You to be able to provide a water source for the bees.

Due to recent issues with HOA's and property management companies we have now updated our policy and pricing. If you are requiring a COI based on you criteria and name listed on our policy. There will be a billable man hour fee. 1 for the paper work and the added cost to for add you, as this will increase our premiums. I addition we have a net 30 payment policy that will accrue late payment fees if payment are not received 30 days from invoice date no exceptions.
